troop carrier, ”SS President Coolidge” and “Million Dollar
Point” are a 20 minute boat trip from the resort. But there
is more to diving here than wrecks. Close to the resort there
are colorful reefs and coral walls.
Diving from Aore Island gives you the option to vary your
diving according to your interests and experience.
For those wanting to learn to dive or try an introductory dive

warm ocean water with good visibility.
Aore Island Dive is the resort’s in house dive operation. For more information go to the DIVE page on this website. There is also the option of diving with the Santo based dive operators, Allan Power Dive Tours and Aquamarine, for more information contact them directly.
MILLENIUM CAVE TREK Spend an adventurous day trekking and caving in Santo. It is a once in a lifetime
experience to explore a unique cave and river system.
You begin with a trek down difficult
terrain to the entrance of the cave. The cave is huge with
water up to your waist and light streaming through from
above. The picturesque way out leads you to a fast flowing
river. It is then a challenging journey down the river over boulders and through water holes. Whilst floating down the river there is time to appreciate the breathtaking scenery within the canyon. The trek ends with a steep walk back up to the village. This is a demanding adventure but worth the effort.
