Aore Island Dive can take you on a fun shore reef dive or boat dives to wrecks and pristine outer reefs. Diving could never be easier, with full service from experienced dive masters.
Dive times are flexible, allowing a sleep-in and a leisurely start to the morning. There is the option of single or double boat dives. Double boat dives depart from the Resort at 9am, with guests returning around lunchtime.
For wreck diving enthusiasts, Aore Island Dive can lead you through the famous SS President Coolidge and Million Dollar Point. Starting with a non-penetration Bow and Reef Dive (25 metres) or the Pomenade Deck (33 metres) leading on to the most popular dives including the Cargo Holds, the Lady, Engine Room, Medical Supplies and Swimming Pool. Experience divers can visit the Stern at 60 metres where you can still see the ship's letters, prop and rudder. Aore Island Dive masters have been leading divers through the wreck for over 20 years, and understand the importance of safety whilst diving such a large wreck.
For fish and reef enthusiasts, there are spectacular reefs and exciting drift dives with vast areas of plate and brain corals, swim throughs, bombie heads and caves. The reefs are home to hundreds of species of colourful fish, turtles, manta rays and reef sharks. Aore Island Dive can take you daily by boat to unexplored reefs not visited by the other dive operators in Santo.
For guests wanting to learn to dive or experience the underwater with Scuba for the first time, Aore Island Dive has a qualified Instructor on site. Aore Resort is the perfect location to experience diving, with warm water, great visability and easily accessable reef dives. In no time you will feel comfortable in our natural aquarium.
