The SS President Coolidge

SS President Coolidge is the largest dive able, penetrable wreck in the southern hemisphere. The World War II troop ship converted from a luxury passenger liner was sunk off Espiritu Santo Island, Vanuatu on 26 October 1942.

This famous ship now lies in 20 - 70 meters and offers divers an unparalleled chance to explore her remnants. The Coolidge is so big you could dive over 10 different locations and still only view a part of her.

Dave Cross, Pro Dive Espiritu Santo takes us on a tour of this fantastic wreck and gives us just a small taste of the potential this great wreck has to offer.
